Our Community
Our church is in the urban village of Palfrey in Walsall, West Midlands. The parish serves Orthodox Christians living in Walsall and the other towns of the Black Country, north-west of Birmingham, as well as parts of the neighbouring counties of Staffordshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire.
Our parishioners come from many Orthodox nations - Slav, Hellenic, Romanian and Georgian - as well as from Britain itself. Our links with the other local Orthodox churches are important to us.
The priest in charge is Archimandrite Samuel Christoforou.
The business of the parish is managed by the Black Country Orthodox Trust, a registered charity (no. 1082272), through a committee of parish members.
